
Storytellers from around the world will spin tales at the Miami-Dade Public Library System’s free Art of Storytelling International Festival 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Main Library, 101 W Flagler Street.
The festival will also feature the Geeta Dias Bollywood Indian Dancers, the Momentum Dance Company, Ife-Ile Afro-Cuban dancers, Esquilo Prieto’s Capoeira Dancers, steel band music, a Bahamian Junkanoo parade, a teen zone with video gaming competition, magic shows, face-painting, arts and crafts, giveaways and more. Free parking will be available at the Miami-Dade Cultural Center Garage, 50 NW Second Ave., and the Hickman Garage, 270 NW Second St.
