Field Trip to explore ancient Egyptians at The Bass Museum


Deadline: Friday, April 16th, 2010. Please RSVP and have mail postmarked no later than this date.When: Wednesday, May, 26th, 2010
Time: 10:00 am-12:00 noon. Meet at 9:50 am outside of museum. We will go in as a group. Give yourself time for driving and parking. Be aware that parking is metered.Lunch: 12:00-12:30 pm. Bring a bagged lunch and we can eat together afterward. The museum has tables and chairs (no food provided) for enjoying lunch. Where: The Bass Museum of Art2121 Park AvenueMiami Beach, FL 33139 Cost: $4.00 per child; adults free.
A guide will challenge our children to “Solve the Mystery of the Life and Times of the Bass Mummy.” The tour includes a scavenger hunt and a hands-on art activity that will enable our children to have fun as they explore the art and culture of the ancient Egyptians. Appropriate for all ages.
