Hallandale Beach is offering a free event for Arbor Day and Earth Day.
The event includes kids activities, displays and hand-out information on recycling and other earth-friendly topics. Free trees and rain barrels, while limited supplies are available, are for Hallandale Beach residents only.
The event is Saturday, April 24 10 a.m. to noon at Ingalls Park, 735 SW First St., Hallandale Beach. For information, phone 954-457-1452.
