The Miami Beach Botanical Garden’s free annual environmental expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, will focus on how to live a greener life with a panel discussion, sale of native plants, workshop on water conservation and a workshop on making a rain barrel.

Sebastian Eilert, LEED Accredited architect and interior designer.
Alan Towsley of Sun Work, a specialist in solar energy.

Barbara McAdam of Miami-Dade Extension Service with a rain barrel workshop.
