
Story tellers, entertainers and free books are part of a free festival at Broward’s North Regional Library.
The event, Saturday, April 24, is geared for youngsters ages 3 to 10 and their families. Kids are invited, if they’d like, to dress up as mermaids, pirates or other sea-related animals or people.
The event, dubbed Children’s BookFest, is 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the North Regional/Broward College Library, 1100 Coconut Creek Blvd., Coconut Creek.
In addition to the entertainment and free books for the first 700 kids attending, the event includes crafts. For information, phone 954-357-7570
