In celebration of Earth Day, the City of Boynton Beach has organized multiple free activities on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Everything will be centered around cleaning up Oceanfront Park, but the day will also include a special turtle talk, various children’s activities, free t-shirts (limited supply), a food drive (bring your non-perishables), and free Publix reusable shopping totes (while they last).
The event will take place on Saturday, May 1 from 8:00 – 10:30 am at Oceanfront Park, 6415 N Ocean Blvd, Ocean Ridge. Volunteers should meet at the pavillion in the lower parking lot, and of course come prepared — with water, sun screen and a hat.
If you would like to volunteer, you are asked to pre-register by emailing Gary Solomon or visiting Sand Sifters online.
